Justin is a trial lawyer who aggressively yet professionally pursues his clients’ interests. Those who observes him in action immediately appreciate his enthusiastic approach to the practice of law and special knack for reaching favorable outcomes for his clients. Perhaps most importantly, Justin “gets it” insofar as he understands his clients’ needs, interests, desires, goals and significance of their cases.

Justin presently focuses his practice on civil litigation arising from personal injuries, business disputes, tort claims, and real estate disputes.

He devotes a significant portion of his practice to representing the seriously injured or the families of persons killed as a result of others’ wrongful acts. In that context, he has recovered millions of dollars for his clients and genuinely enjoys the satisfaction of accompanying his clients through difficult times with the end result of a fair, and often sizeable financial recovery.

Justin devotes the other portion of his practice to litigation arising from business and real estate disputes.  In the real estate litigation arena, Justin has been fortunate to have favorably tried, litigated, settled and appealed cases arising from contract disputes, title disputes, easements, partition proceedings and co-tenant dissolutions, voidable or “fraudulent” transfer claims, environmental tort claims, trespass and common law nuisance claims, neighbor disputes involving restrictive covenants, adverse possession, rescission and reformation of title instruments, constructive trusts, equitable liens, as well as trust and estate litigation involving real estate as the subject matter.

Justin has found that his skill sets of seeking compensation for plaintiffs who have been harmed and representing parties involved in business or real estate disputes are complimentary in many ways. He has the ability to prepare and try a case if the opposing party is unreasonable in its position, but the ability to understand and leverage procedural nuance where appropriate.

As an aside, Justin has handled appeals in North Carolina’s appellate courts with an impeccable track record of success. At end of the day, Justin’s best skill is finding a way to win his cases within the confines of the law. Of course, “winning” may include averting risk by using the litigation process to reach a reasonable resolution limiting the exposure to risk for his clients.
